(BEDFORD) - Bedford’s very own Lieutenant Governor Becky Skillman was in town yesterday afternoon congratulating Lawrence County on completing the first phase of the Indiana Home Town Competitiveness Program.
Phase I of the project revolved around assessment of the needs of Lawrence County to help the area become more economically competitive.
Phase II begins with development and implementation of plans and ideas.
The Lawrence County program is being headed by Bedford Chamber of Commerce President Adele Bowden-Purlee.
