(UNDATED) - After a one-year stalemate, the Big Ten Network finally arrives on Comcast cable this Friday.
Comcast, the largest cable company in Indiana with more than 800,000 subscribers, will carry the Big Ten Network on expanded basic cable through at least April of 2009.
The network will carry Indiana's season-opener against Western Kentucky on August 30th and Purdue's season kickoff September 6th with Northern Colorado.
Negotiations with other carriers, including Brighthouse Networks and Time Warner Cable, are ongoing.
The Big Ten Network has been available on satellite and on AT&T's network since last fall.
