(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington police officers are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the K-Mart Pharmacy on west 3rd Street.
Bloomington Captain Joe Qualters says a white male in his 50s approached the pharmacy counter Tuesday night, revealed a handgun in his waistband, and demanded money and specific drugs.
The pharmacist placed cash, OxyContin, and methadone in the bag, the drugs along having a street value of about $10,000, and the suspect took off.
Nobody was injured.
The suspect is described as a white male in his later 50s, thin, with a gray mustache and/or goatee, and wore a straw cowboy hat and sunglasses.
