(UNDATED) - Despite how you may feel when you look at the sign and pull up to the pump, Indiana’s gas prices are keeping below the national average.
Currently, the AAA Hoosier Motor Club says the average price for regular in the month of July was $4.08, whereas the national average was 2 pennies higher.
However, so far, the highest average price in Indiana, recorded on July 17th, was $4.16, a whole nickel higher than the highest national average price.
AAA says it's, at least, reasonable to believe that gas prices will continue to fall, despite concerns over Tropical Storm Edouard's effect on production in the Gulf of Mexico, and concerns over Iran's nuclear program.
