(LOOGOOTEE) - A Jasper man arrived at a Wendy’s restaurant in the Town of Loogootee to pick up his child and, instead, got picked up by police himself.
State Police Jasper say they were called to the Loogootee Wendy's by the child's mother who had apparently observed drug paraphernalia in the vehicle of the father, 27-year-old John Cannon.
When officer's searched Cannon's car, they found not only drug paraphernalia, but also Chinese throwing stars.
Troopers took Cannon into custody and then searched his Jasper home and found marijuana and scales.
Cannon was then lodged in the Martin County jail on charges of possessing marijuana, paraphernalia and Chinese throwing stars.
