(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies responded to another motorcycle accident in the county yesterday afternoon.
Reports say 35-year-old Shannon Simpson of Orleans was headed south on IN-37 when she lost control of the Harley-Davidson motorcycle south of Patton Hill Road.
Simpson doesn't know how it happens but Simpson's sister, who was following, says the rear wheel locked up.
The Harley went off the road and hit the ground throwing Simpson from the bike. The sister told officers it looked like the rear fender came loose and rolled forward jamming the rear wheel.
Simpson was taken by BRMC ambulance for head contusions from not wearing a helmet.
