(MARTINSVILLE) - The Small Business Administration is urging June’s flood victims in Morgan County to apply for SBA loans by the deadline.
Richard Daigle with SBA says homeowners could be eligible for benefits despite grants they receive from FEMA.
Daigle says even if an SBA loan application is turned down, flood victims could then be eligible for additional FEMA grant money.
But the catch is, they have to apply and be turned down for the SBA loan first.
The deadline for loan applications in Morgan County is August 11.
