Truck Gets Stuck, Closes IN-46 Near Spencer

(SPENCER) - Indiana State Police have closed down IN-46 at the Fish Creek Bridge due to a semi that has gotten stuck.

ISP Bloomington Sgt. Curt Durnil says the semi tried to pass unlawfully and became immobile as a result.

State police currently advise using US-231 to I-70 as a detour until crews are able to remove the tractor trailer from the roadway.

Currently, they believe the cleanup will take the better part of the morning.

Update: Indiana State Police now advise the roadway is clear.
