(BEDFORD) - Bedfordites got to Dunn Memorial Hospital last night to hear about what the hospital board and county council are intending to do about the merger possibilities between Dunn, Clarian and Ascension.
Monday night's meeting of the Dunn Memorial Hospital Governors and County Council members gave no direct answer as to whether Dunn would merge with Clarian or lease to St. Vincent.
The meeting was to let the public know that the board has received the final proposals from both companies.
The proposals will be summarized and then given to the local media so the public can review them before a final letter of intent is sent to one of the companies.
Board Chairman Eric Koch expects the proposals to become public by the end of this week, and a final letter of intent to be submitted by the end of the month.
