(BEDFORD) - Indiana conservation officers are investigating the death of a Bedford man in the East Fork of the White River.
Conservation officers say Tim Hanners was last seen around 4:30 yesterday morning floating on his raft in the river, but by a little before 10:30 yesterday morning, Hanners' friends contacted the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department and reported the man missing.
Hanners' body was located just after 1:00pm by Conservation Department divers in the river, and say he was not wearing a life jacket.
Hanners was pronounced dead by the Lawrence County Coroner.
