(UNDATED) - Today is day 3 of recovery in Indiana from Sunday’s storms. Duke Energy is reporting decent progress in restoring power to area customers.
Lawrence County has been whittled down to just over 350 homes without power, with just about everybody turned back on in Martin, Greene, Orange and Brown Counties.
Monroe County still has about 1,800 without power with 730 in Jackson and more than 3,200 in Washington County.
Jackson County REMC says they are now down to 1,500 customers without power as of last night.
The City of Bedford reports flowers being blown away and displaced at Beech Grove Cemetery, and those can be reclaimed at the Thornton Park Pavilion Friday and Monday from 8:00am until 3:00pm.
Boil orders have been issued in Brown County and for East Monroe Water customers. Those under boil orders need to boil their water for at least 2:00 minutes.
In Orleans, town Clerk-Treasurer Robert Henderson says he expects cleanup of debris to continue for the next couple weeks.
Finally, INDOT crews are working to reopen blocked roads in Crawford, Washington and Floyd Counties.
