(BEDFORD) - Warrants have been issued for a Bedford man suspected in a string of at least 20 burglaries spanning Jackson, Lawrence and Greene Counties.
Jackson County Sheriff Marc Lahrman tells WBIW News 29-year-old Adam Gibson of Bedford is facing at least 6 criminal charges relating to the 6 known burglaries that have occurred in Jackson County.
Gibson was initially arrested August 12th along with his mother, 46-year-old Ruth Gentry, on burglary charges, and Lawrence and Jackson county investigators have tentatively linked Gibson with the burglary string.
Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig tells WBIW News his department hasn't filed new charges yet since the originals on the 12th, since they are still focusing on returning property and finding other potential victims.
