(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County officers are investigating a single-car accident that put a young Bedford man in the hospital with seemingly serious injuries.
Lawrence County reports say deputies found 26-year-old William Landry of Bedford unconscious across the front seat of his wrecked mustang bleeding severely from his head.
Police say Landry never became conscious at the scene, and so they took him to Bedford Regional Medical Center for both treatment and a tox screen.
Results of intoxicant testing are still pending and, as of now, no charges have been filed.
