(INDIANAPOLIS) - Recovery efforts are still continuing in areas heavily damaged by June’s record flooding.
The US Department of Housing and Urban Development has just approved a grant for the City of Columbus to help the city, renowned for its architecture, to recover from the water that inundated almost the entire area.
More than $530,000 are on their way to the Bartholomew County seat, and that money will be focused on rehabilitation of low and moderate income housing lost in the flood.
