(BLOOMINGTON) - Indiana University police say they are now starting to develop a pool of suspects in last weekend’s slasher attack.
IUPD Captain Jerry Minger says the assailant reportedly ran up from behind the group of students that were attacked, waving his arms as he blew through them.
Now, police say they have compiled a possible list of between 6 and 8 suspects, and are re-interviewing witnesses and tipsters to see what other details can be provided, as well as checking the security cameras at the nearby IU Credit Union.
The attack triggered the first emergency use of the school's IU-Notify system.
