(BEDFORD) - Bedford police arrested a man early Saturday morning that was literally spoiling for a fight.
Bedford Police Assistant Chief Dan Kirk tells WBIW News that officers were called to the home of 42-year-old Thomas Endris and when they arrived, Endris was reportedly in the front yard yelling at the cops, and challenging them to a fight.
Officers noted he was apparently drunk and when they went to arrest him, he allegedly plowed one officer in the face, spit in his face, and threatened to beat him, "within an inch of his life" when he got out.
Endris was arrested by two officers and charged with public intoxication, resisting arrest by force and by bodily waste, battery on an officer and intimidation.
