(BLOOMINGTON) - Monroe County’s Emergency Management Director is out of the job as of the end of October, and says it wasn’t his doing.
According to a report in the Bloomington Herald Times, Director John Hooker says he was forced out by the Emergency Management Advisory Council.
Hooker tells the paper he was told by city corporation counsel Kevin Robling to either resign or be terminated.
Right now, Hooker's last day is scheduled for October 31st.
