(BEDFORD) - Bedford police have two men in custody in relation to a fight that happened early Sunday morning.
Police say 22-year-old Zachery Wray and 19-year-old Jeremiah Hancock were in a dispute when officers arrived at the 2900 block of Washington Avenue.
Bedford Assistant Chief of Police Dan Kirk tells WBIW News both reportedly smelled of alcoholic beverages and Hancock was immediately taken into custody for illegal consumption.
When he didn't have his ID on him, officers followed him into the home to retrieve it, and that's when they say they found drug paraphernalia, and when they searched his person, found a switchblade knife.
Wray, on the other hand, was wanted on a warrant from February for contributing to a delinquency of a minor.
Kirk says he allegedly provided Xanax to a teenager who overdosed.
Both were taken to Lawrence County jail.
