(MARTINSVILLE) - West Nile concerns are getting a bit more notice now that another pond has been found in Martinsville with West Nile positive mosquitoes.
The Indiana Department of Health says they recently found a batch on the Morgan County fairgrounds.
That makes the fourth positive mosquito group found in the immediate listening area.
According to department statistics, no avian cases have been found in the immediate area and no equine cases in the entire state. There's only been one human case reported this year in Indiana, however, that one is a bit closer than is comfortable, in Perry County.
However, the most concentrated groupings of West Nile positive mosquitoes have been staying north of Interstate 70, although Vigo County is one exception.
