(WILLIAMS) - People in Williams may be having some trouble letting their fingers to the walking today.
RTC Communications, the phone service provider to the small town on the White River, says copper thieves managed to make off with about 200 feet of phone cable from their main office, cutting off all service to the Town of Williams.
Crews are currently working on repairing the damage, and hope to have service back up this afternoon.
If anyone has information regarding this theft, they are encouraged to call the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department at (812) 277-2014...as soon as their phone service is back up, of course.
