(BLOOMINGTON) - The cars were washed in and out, finishes waxed, shoes spit shined and the uniforms were pressed at the Bloomington state police post Monday. Why?
Because the white gloves were getting put on and commanding officers of the Indiana State Police conducted their annual inspection of the recently moved post.
Everything had to be perfect, from proper military creased pressed into uniforms, squad car carpets being shampooed, to equipment in proper condition, to state troopers themselves being properly groomed.
Bloomington Post Commander Lt. Paul Bucher says his officers met expectations.
Bucher's command covers Monroe, Lawrence, Owen, Greene and Brown Counties.
