(OOLITIC) - Indiana State Police are looking into a Lawrence County motorcycle wreck that sent one Bedford man to a hospital in Indianapolis.
Around 1:00pm Friday afternoon, a state trooper drove up to a wreck on IN-37 at Patton Hill Road near Oolitic, that caused a Bedford biker to sustain severe injuries across his entire body.
Police say 52-year-old Larry Mills of Bedford was riding his Honda bike east on Patton Hill across IN-37 when 22-year-old Hannah Brooking of Salem was coming the opposite way, didn't yield and caused the two to collide head-on.
Mills was thrown from his bike into the middle of the IN-37 intersection, and had to be flown to Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis.
An investigation is underway including toxicology testing.
