(BLOOMINGTON) - It’s often a parent’s honor to see their children follow in their footsteps. Some parents even enjoy sharing or partnering their business with their kids.
However, for one Monroe County mother, her business allegedly involved narcotics, which may not work out so well for her, her son, nor the third man they found with them.
The Bloomington Herald Times reports 53-year-old Marilyn Grimes was arrested yesterday and charged with a felony of dealing narcotics, she was also wanted on a warrant for the same, and faces a bigger felony in Morgan County for heroin dealing.
Her son, 30-year-old James Fender was also arrested on a dealing charge, and 49-year-old Bryan Garrett is charged with assisting a criminal and maintaining a common nuisance.
