(WASHINGTON, DC) - Indiana 9th District Democratic Congressman Baron Hill wants to remind area Hoosiers that the absolute final deadline to get this year’s tax returns in, and to become eligible for the stimulus package from earlier this year, is coming up quickly.
October 15th, which is next week Wednesday, is when the buzzer goes off.
The stimulus package, passed early this year, provides $600 for individual filers making less than $75,000, $1,200 for joint filers making less than $150,000, plus $300 for each dependent child, $300 for those making at least $3,000 as a positive tax liability, and $300 for seniors living entirely off Social Security.
