(MORGAN COUNTY) - A pair of Indianapolis men are facing some serious time for a home invasion in Morgan County, but one of them may not live to face the music.
Police say the two men allegedly burglarized a IN-42 home, held the residents at gunpoint, and shot at one of their relative, then took off running.
Police conducted a search with both personnel and a chopper, and found one of the men, 33-year-old Norman Perryman of Indianapolis, with an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound to his head, but still alive.
The other one, 29-year-old Brian Blevins of Indianapolis, was arrested without incident. Blevins faces felonies of attempted murder, burglary, theft, and recklessness and confinement with a deadly weapon.
Perryman will face the same when released from Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis where he is currently listed in critical condition.
