(INDIANAPOLIS) - With exactly 7 days left before “the big day,” early voting in Lawrence County has seen a spike this week.
Lawrence County Clerk Myron Rainey told WBIW News last week he was seeing an average 100 voters per day at the voting booths in the county courthouse.
However, this morning, officials at the Clerk's office told WBIW News that 207 ballots were cast Monday alone, and lines are looking similar for today. With early voting the primary way to avoid long waits next Tuesday, you may want to give it consideration.
Rainey's only advice for Election Day voters is to just be patient. And, if early voting lines are any indication, you'll need to be.
And if you have voted early, or when you do vote either early or on Election Day, tell us about your experience.
