(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington police are on the hunt for a man that was seen robbing an east Bloomington bank.
The Bloomington Herald Times reports the Peoples State Bank on South Clarizz Boulevard in Bloomington was reported robbed yesterday morning around 11:00am. People at the bank say the robber pulled a gun, jumped the counter and demanded cash, then made off with the money on foot out behind the bank.
Police describe the man as African-American, in his mid 20s, 6-feet tall with dreadlocks and was last seen wearing a green hooded sweatshirt and a bandana to cover his face.
This is the 6th reported bank robbery in the campus town this year, and the second one at this particular bank.
