(BEDFORD) - Bedford detectives are investigating a the death of a man found in his H Street home.
Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley tells WBIW News 47-year-old Michael D. Reynolds was found in his home at 617 H Street unresponsive by friends.
Police were called at 8:10pm last night by friends requesting a welfare check saying they couldn't gain entry into Reynolds' home, but that they could see him through the window unresponsive on his couch.
Police and Dunn Memorial Hospital EMTs gained entry into the home late Thursday night and found Reynolds dead. An autopsy is scheduled for this morning.
Parsley tells WBIW News he cannot comment one way or the other as to the possibility of foul play as autopsy results have not come in yet.
He says the department is investigating Reynolds' death as they would any other unattended death at this point.
