(UNDATED) - A Central Indiana doctor has advice for staying calm during the mad scramble of the holidays.
Dr. Greg Sipe says it's important to keep stress levels low as you celebrate with friends and family on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
If you're hosting a holiday get-together, set an informal ending time. You can also plan games and other activities to help keep guests entertained.
Limit the amount of alcohol people drink by having someone serve beverages at the gathering.
Dr. Sipe also says some conflicts can be diffused by inviting several guests. He says you can save yourself from being overwhelmed by being realistic and planning ahead.
