(INDIANAPOLIS) - Your last chance to vote early in Tuesday’s election ends today at noon. Marion County had two satellite voting centers open for 10 days, but they closed Sunday.
Your last chance before Election Day is in Marion County Clerk Beth White's office between 8:00am and noon.
Lines at White's office have been averaging a half-hour wait, and White expects lines at least that long for the final day. The line will be cut off at noon, but anyone already in line can vote, no matter how far back they are.
The same rule applies Tuesday when regular polling places close at 6:00pm. Absentee ballots will be accepted if they reach your county clerk's office by 6:00pm Tuesday.
White says if you haven't mailed back your ballot yet, you're taking a big risk if you expect the post office to get it there in time.
She recommends dropping it off in person.
