(MARTINSVILLE) - Six people have been hospitalized after a head-on wreck in Morgan County yesterday afternoon.
State Police Putnamville say 16-year-old Corey Allison of Martinsville was heading east on IN-44 and, for reasons unknown, crossed the centerline and struck a car driven by 35-year-old Errika Abrams, also of Martinsville, head on.
Allison and one passenger, 16-year-old Alexander Boyd of Martinsville, were air-lifted to Wishard and Methodist Hospitals in Indianapolis.
The other passengers in the same car, 15-year-old Veronica Kondelik, 15-year-old Brandon Wilson and 16-year-old Brittany Freed, all of Martinsville, were taken to Morgan Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Abrams, the driver of the other car, was also taken to Morgan Hospital with less serious injuries.
Police are investigating the incident.
