(LINTON) - Shots were fired in a Greene County road rage incident yesterday afternoon, but both people involved walked away, although one of them did so in handcuffs.
The Greene County Daily World reports the incident started on IN-57 just north of the lighthouse junction at IN-54 when 20-year-old Michael Tennant of Linton passed 36-year-old Gary Parsley of Worthington.
The paper says Parsley then passed Tennant and brake checked him, causing Tennant to bump into him. This reportedly went back and forth up IN-57, through Switz City and onto IN-67, and, at some point, a firearm was discharged striking Tennant's driver's side front fender.
Police are still gathering details, however, Parsley has been charged with felony counts of attempted battery and criminal recklessness both with a firearm, and a lesser reckless driving charge.
