(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indianapolis Museum of Art has announced it is moving forward with the purchase of the landmark Miller House and Garden in Columbus.
The IMA is raising $3 million for an 8 million endowment, with the remainder provided by members of the Miller Family and the Irwin-Sweeney-Miller Foundation.
It is also raising $2 million for the 18 month renovation of the house.
It is considered one of the country's most highly-regarded examples of mid-century modernist residences.
