(BLOOMINGTON) - The ability for the City of Bloomington to better develop business increases next Tuesday.
Indiana University says they will break ground Tuesday for a new $10 million dollar business incubator.
The 40,000 square foot facility will be aimed primarily at hosting life science and internet technology endeavors.
The site will be located on campus grounds near the intersection of 10th Street and the Bypass. This isn't IU's first business incubator, however, although it is a first for the Bloomington campus.
IU says their Central Canal Incubator in downtown Indianapolis, a 67,500 square foot facility, stands at 98% capacity with 23 tenants.
