(BEDFORD) - The William T. Wiley house in Bedford has finally made its move.
After more than a year's worth of delays, the childhood home of California artist and Bedford native William T. Wiley has been moved from its old location on 25th Street to its new home at 14th and J Streets near the former downtown Convention Center.
The house was supposed to originally be moved toward the end of summer last year, however, delays and problems, especially in fund raising, has caused a series of continual delays.
And, even though the move was planned for the beginning of this month, and even that had doubts cast on it when another delay was announced.
But now, the house is at its new home, and all appears to be well, so now full-bore restoration can resume.
