(UNDATED) - Drivers throughout the entire WBIW listening area should allow for extra time in getting where they’re going this morning.
The entire listening area, north and south, had a winter weather advisory set to expire at 7:00am this morning, due to light freezing drizzle throughout the night that still continues as an even lighter mist this morning.
On local roads that haven't been treated well, black ice and, thus, very slippery conditions are certainly possible.
The remainder of this week is also due to be wet, with showers forecast tomorrow and Friday, and snow showers due next week starting Sunday.
And, at this point, there's a 30% chance of Bedford having a "White Christmas" this year.
Winter precipitation is currently forecast for both Christmas Eve and Day.
