(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomfield man is accused of slugging a pair of Arabic speaking men at a Bloomington bar.
The Bloomington Herald Times reports 23-year-old Casey Thompson told police he was struck by one of the men in question after he alleges they were, "speaking aggressively" toward him, so he said he retaliated and struck both men in the face.
However, when police checked him over, they couldn't find any sign of injury to his person.
The victims told police that Thompson approached them as they were speaking Arabic with each other, and Thompson asked them what language they were speaking, and they reportedly brushed him off, and that's when the alleged assault occurred.
Thompson was lodged in the Monroe County jail for public intoxication two charges of battery.
