(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomington man is in custody after being accused of acting inappropriately during a car ride with two females.
The Bloomington Herald Times reports 31-year-old Christopher Scites of Bloomington faces charges of child molestation, intimidation with a deadly weapon and sexual battery.
The paper says a female victim was called by her 12-year-old daughter saying Scites had been touching her, and when she returned home, she found Scites in the parking lot, who allegedly approached her with a knife and threatened her.
The initial assault apparently occurred when a 22-year-old woman, along with the 12-year-old girl, gave Scites a ride back from the library where he allegedly made sexual advances and inappropriate contact with both women.
When they got to the house, they both ran inside and that's when the 12-year-old called her mother.
Scites was arrested, denied the charges, and was lodged in the Monroe County jail.
