(COLUMBUS) - Cummins will extend its typical Christmas shutdown by two days as it adjusts to the continuing automotive slump.
The Columbus-based engine maker told its employees this week that the break, initially scheduled from Christmas Eve to January 5th, also will include December 22nd and 23rd.
Cummins is the sole supplier of diesel engines for Dodge HD pickups.
