(BLOOMINGTON) - If you thought the Hoosier football team was a little short on talent this year, it just may get worse next year for reasons that have nothing to do with transfers or graduation.
The Bloomington Herald Times is currently reporting several members of the Hoosier football team have been named in a robbery affidavit by Bloomington police, and at least one has been charged.
Right now, IU Cornerback Courtney "Cortez" Smith has been charged with robbery resulting in bodily injury and burglary as of Monday.
Offensive Lineman Dennis Zeigler, Linebacker Darius Johnson and Safety Jarrell Drane, all red shirt Freshmen, have also been named in the affidavit, according to the paper, but currently face no charges.
Another man, Lazell McClellan of Detroit, Michigan, has also been charged in the same incident with robbery and battery resulting in bodily injury, burglary and resisting arrest.
