(UNDATED) - More shaky weather could be headed to parts of the WBIW listening area.
Right now, the National Weather Service in Indianapolis has a winter weather advisory in effect for the far northern part of the WBIW listening area including Owen and Morgan Counties from 7:00pm tonight until 4:00am tomorrow morning.
Freezing rain may develop this afternoon into tonight, with the biggest potential for icy conditions coming after 9:00pm.
In the southern half of the listening area, including Orange, Washington and Crawford Counties, there may be freezing fog this morning which may create thin layers of black ice, primarily on bridges and overpasses. However, no warnings or advisories are in effect.
Everything in between, at least at this point, is in the clear.
However, Weather Channel meteorologists forecast rain could start falling, and possibly freezing, in time for your drive home from work tonight, possibly around 6:00pm.
So remember, keep it tuned to 1340 WBIW for the Winter Weather Watchers, for the latest on closings, cancellations and delays.
