(NASHVILLE) - A Morgantown couple were airlifted to a hospital in Indianapolis after a serious, head-on wreck just north of Nashville in Brown County Sunday night.
State Police Bloomington report 28-year-old Justin Griffith of Nashville lost control of his pickup while heading south on IN-135 about 2 miles north of Nashville, crossed the centerline, and struck a sedan driven by 55-year-old Robert Thompson of Morgantown head on.
Griffith was taken to Columbus Regional Hospital complaining of pain, however, Thompson and his wife, Gloria, had to be extricated from their vehicle and airlifted to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis in critical condition.
At this point, Griffith is just cited for driving left of the centerline, and troopers are continuing to investigate the incident.
