(SEYMOUR) - Another suspected arson fire has occurred in the City of Seymour.
The Tribune of Seymour reports firefighters responded to a fire at an unoccupied home Wednesday evening in the frigid weather.
Fire Chief Fred Hines told the paper that it appeared a cardboard box full of wood was set ablaze on the home's porch, but that he does not believe that this fire is related to two other arson cases that are being investigated in the city from late last year.
Hines says this fire is too far apart and in a much different time frame from the others to be considered in connection, at least initially.
No arrest has been made in the earlier arson cases.
