(BLOOMINGTON) - Indiana State Police in Bloomington report that the man involved in a serious accident early Friday morning has since succumbed to his injuries.
State Police Sgt. Curt Durnil says 45-year-old Casey Barber of Bloomington lost control of his car on airport road near Kirby Road Friday morning, struck a guardrail, flipped several times and was tossed from the car.
Durnil says Barber was taken to Bloomington Hospital in critical condition and, later that afternoon, he was declared dead at the hospital.
Police are continuing to investigate the accident.
