(UNDATED) - The weather outside is causing dangerous driving conditions and a number of school closures.
As of right now, the northern half of the listening area, including Lawrence, Martin, Greene, Monroe, Brown, and Jackson Counties, is under a winter storm warning that has been extended until noon tomorrow.
That same warning has also been extended for the south, including Orange, Washington and Crawford Counties, until 7:00am tomorrow morning.
Snow has been coming down at a heavy rate between last night and this morning, and road crews are having trouble keeping even major highways like IN-37 and US-50 clear.
Snow has also caused the closure of a number of school corporations, including North Lawrence, Mitchell, and Monroe County, so keep tuned to the Winter Weather Watchers for the latest on closings, cancellations and delays, and drive very carefully this morning.
