Lugar: Columbus Hospital To Get $6.9M For Flood Relief

Last updated on Thursday, January 15, 2009

(WASHINGTON, DC) - Senator Dick Lugar says that Columbus Regional Hospital will receive $6.9 million from FEMA for three cleanup and restoration projects.

The funds help cover repair costs from the devastating floods in Columbus that forced the hospital to temporarily close in June 2008.

Floodwaters filled the hospital's basement and a lot of its first floor.
