(BEDFORD) - Almost a month to the day from an accident that took the lives of two Bedford North Lawrence students, the City of Bedford will be spending almost an entire day working to benefit the families and the memories of the victims.
The day starts tomorrow morning at 10:00am when the BNL volleyball team will be holding an auction and donation drive for the Chastain and Pruett Families who both have children in the hospital from the accident.
Then, at noon, the team mates for life will hold a spaghetti dinner and bake sale for a scholarship fund in the name of 14-year-old Alexandria Chastain, who died in the accident.
Finally, a benefit chili supper will be held at 4:00pm for the family of 16-year-old Cameron Wright, who also passed away in the accident.
The 16-year-old Destiny Chastain and 17-year-old Jessica Pruett remain at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, but have since been upgraded to "good condition," since arriving in "critical condition" by helicopter on the night of the accident, December 27th.
