Sports Complex To Open In Downtown Columbus By End Of 2009

(COLUMBUS) - A $12.5 million indoor sports complex is planned for downtown Columbus.

Inside Indiana Business reports the Columbus Athletic & Event Center is expected to open by the end of the year.

The 140,000 square-foot facility will have the capacity to host athletic competitions up to the NCAA Division Two level.

It could also accommodate trade shows, exhibits and other events.
