(UNDATED) - Looks like the dangerous weather meteorologists had forecasted for the overnight period didn’t quite make it to most of the listening area.
Around 3:20 this morning, the National Weather Service in Indianapolis had issued a winter weather advisory for the northern half of the listening area until 1:00pm this afternoon, however, shortly after, it was cancelled.
A winter weather advisory was also announced for the southern half of the listening area, including Orange, Washington and Crawford Counties until 1:00pm today, but that was cancelled this morning as well.
Currently, radar images aren't showing much precipitation, but Weather Channel meteorologists are still forecasting a 60% chance of snow this morning.
Despite the lack of expected snow, however, the cold is still on schedule and expected to last through at least Saturday.
And there's a 60% chance of snow with blustery winds due tomorrow.
