(BEDFORD) - Bedford police have a man in custody in relation to the robbery of O’Brien’s Drive-In Liquors late Monday night.
The Bedford Police Department says 35-year-old Antwan Henry of Bedford is lodged in the Lawrence County jail, charged with one county of armed robbery.
Police say Henry was picked up by officers yesterday afternoon, around 4:00pm, without incident. Police also say Henry has two prior convictions in 1994 and 1997 in Vanderburgh County for armed robbery, and a 2003 conviction for forgery.
Henry is accused of walking into the O'Brien's Drive-In Liquor store in Bedford just before midnight Monday night, reportedly carrying a club of some sort in his hand up his sleeve, grabbing an estimated $600 in cash, and taking off on foot.
